Cerov Minervan

The following is a sort of character prologue I’ve compiled for a Dungeons and Dragons game based in the Star Wars universe. Hopefully this will make some sense as well as lend some manner of largesse to my nerd cred.

With some manner of music continually going through his headset, Cerov Minervan was able to ignore any number of atrocities that seemed to engulf his then-home planet of Ralltiir. He lived out in the suburbs, sure, but nothing was right ever since the Empire took a firmer hold on the intergalactic markets that resided in the nearby colossal city.

But this particular day, while his friends were off setting up traps to distract Empire foot patrols, all he was doing was waiting. He would sound the alarm to let the smuggler-in-charge know when he couldn’t lie low any longer. And to do that “you have to sit here and wait by the button. No listening to music. All you have to do is sit by the short wave and wait for my word to send the signal.”

And sure, Cerov didn’t mind assignments like that, but he wanted something better. One of the ways he did so was by fixing his short wave to the headset music player he had with him to hear both at the same time.

The second?

Grabbing the seat next to the smuggler-in-charge’s pilot to give him the signal personally.

He was finally getting away from the Empire.
